Garden City Cabins is trying to create an awareness and opportunity for Bear Lake Utah residents to be more informed about local history, heritage and news concerning Bear Lake and the surrounding communities. This late 1800's Pioneer Mormon log home may be one of the original homesteads of  Garden City Utah. I recently purchased this Garden City cabin on E-Bay after it was "found" under an older structure in the 90's, and it will soon be moved to another location in the area, hopefully still in Garden City Utah, any ideas?

Perhaps some of you have heard about Iris's cabin, or the story telling event recently held at the Harbor Village Hotel in Garden City Utah and the success that was had concerning Bear Lake's history and heritage. Well this may become an extention of that, so that people can share info about the local history of their houses and cabins in the area of Garden City, Bear Lake Utah and Idaho. Perhaps folks would be willing to publish info about their homes and the families that built and lived in them, making Bear Lake what it is today.
